We are pleased to announced, that Biotech Group reached a new milestone, as reported by the Rhein newspaper as well. Biotech’s new factory building in Rheinbrohl will open its doors. The office section will open on the 1st of April in 2022, the production expected to begin in the end of the year 2022.
We were looking for a building that could be quickly adapted to our needs, with a larger lot to allow us to grow in the future. The building permit for the renovation was recently issued, because extensive modifications are necessary. In addition to a reception, five offices, three conference and changing rooms, and a community hall are planned. To produce implants and instruments for bone surgery, the company also needs a production area, rooms for polishing and grinding as well as a mechanic workshop, a laundry room, three storage rooms for raw materials, for half-finished and finished products. There are also two offices for production management and quality control, a clean room, a space for final inspection and packaging.
The visual design of the building:
We assume that we will be ready by the end of 2022. The new location in Rheinbrohl was necessary to increase the production capacities At the beginning, we would initially like to employ 15-20 new employees in Rheinbrohl. The main products manufactured in Rheinbrohl include prostheses for the knee, hip, shoulder and spine, as well as prostheses for correcting a deformed sternum and implants for treating bone fractures. In addition, the appropriate instruments for installation for the doctors are manufactured.
We believe that the quality of our products with “affordable prices” has enabled to expand our market share every year. We expect the same development in the coming years.
